Construction Tile & Grout Cleaning Sydney

Grout haze removal, tile scrubbing, splashback and wet area detailing for residential construction handover.

Surface-safe tile detail

Remove the residue without damaging the finish.

New-build tile can hold grout haze, adhesive marks, silicone residue, trade dust and water film across floors, splashbacks and wet areas. The method depends on the tile body, finish, grout and residue—not one chemical used everywhere.

We inspect first, complete a test area where needed, then work through controlled agitation, residue recovery and a dry presentation check. Tile and grout detailing can form part of a handover clean or a focused scope.

Our process

A controlled sequence for tile and grout.

The tile, grout, sealant and residue are confirmed before chemistry or agitation is selected.

01 / Inspect

Identify the finish

Tile, grout, sealant, damage and residue are checked before work starts.

02 / Test

Confirm the method

A controlled test area confirms compatibility and realistic removal.

03 / Detail

Agitate and recover

Suitable residue is worked safely, then recovered rather than redistributed.

04 / Inspect

Dry and check

Tile faces, grout lines and edges are reviewed after drying.

Before / After

Grout Haze Removal

Construction film is assessed, treated and recovered so tile colour and grout lines read clean at handover.

  1. 01Inspect the tile, grout, residue and any acid-sensitive finishes.
  2. 02Remove loose construction dust before introducing moisture.
  3. 03Test a compatible treatment and work the haze in controlled sections.
  4. 04Recover residue, rinse where suitable, dry and inspect the tile face.

Tile Scrubbing

Tile faces and grout joints are agitated with a finish-compatible method, then rinsed, dried and checked.

  1. 01Vacuum loose grit from tile faces, grout joints and perimeter edges.
  2. 02Select the pad, brush and solution to suit the installed finish.
  3. 03Agitate the tile and grout methodically without spreading dirty solution.
  4. 04Recover, rinse where suitable, allow to dry and check for remaining film.

FAQ

Tiles and grout, common questions.

For Sydney builders, supervisors and new-home handovers.

We clean ceramic and porcelain tile floors, tiled walls, splashbacks and wet areas where the installed finish and site condition are suitable. Tile faces, grout lines, accessible edges and perimeter details are confirmed in the scope.

Light and moderate grout haze can be assessed and treated using a method suited to the tile and grout. Heavy, cured or unknown cement residue may require a test area, specialist chemistry and a separate quote.

No. The surface, grout type, residue and manufacturer guidance are assessed first. Acid-sensitive stone, metallic finishes and some grout systems require different methods, and unsuitable chemistry is not used.

No. Cleaning can remove suitable surface residue and soil, but it cannot repair cracked, missing, uneven or permanently stained grout, damaged tile or failed sealant. Those conditions are documented as defects.

Detailed tile and grout cleaning is normally completed late in the handover clean after dusty trades have finished. A final presentation reset can also be included in the sparkle clean after defect trades return.
